- Errol, Scotland is a village in Perth and Kinross, Scotland.
- Errol, NH is a town in the U.S. State of New Hampshire.
- In the fictional Harry Potter series, Errol (Harry Potter) is the Weasley family's owl.
- In Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Errol was a small swamp-dragon who played an important part in the book Guards! Guards!.
- Errol the Hamster was a character from the Roland Rat TV series, and was a Welsh technical expert.
- Errol Barnett is an anchor for Channel One News.
- Erol/Errol is a major villain in the video game Jak II and its sequel Jak 3.
- Errol Etienne is a prominent Scottish artist.
