Small World: An Academic Romance (1984) is a humorous "campus novel" by the British writer David Lodge. It is a sequel to Lodge's 1975 novel, Changing Places.

Small World has many of the same main characters (including Professors Philip Swallow and Morris Zapp) from Changing Places. The plot, highly allusive to quests for the Holy Grail, follows a large number of characters around the international circuit of academic literary conferences.Template:Novel-stub
