Michael Karoli (April 29 1948 – November 17, 2001) was a guitarist and founding member of the German Krautrock band Can.
On the Can DVD, footage is shown in which Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist and solo artist John Frusciante pays tribute to the late Karoli at an awards ceremony in 2003.
