Synthetic Socks is a very early recording by Ween, released on Teen Beat Records in 1987. Almost entirely the product of Gene Ween making personal recordings in his bedroom (Dean Ween appears only a few times on this particular cassette), Synthetic Socks features a very embryonic version of Ween's trademark sound. Chocodog Records have announced a re-release of the cassette in 2005.
