I don't think "artwork" is used to apply to (fine) art (we say "work of art", not the same), more for graphic design.

An artwork can refer to
- A work of graphic design
- In particular, the embodiment of an engineering schematic diagram, such as on a printed circuit, or even the reticles of an integrated circuit mask.
