Cosmas Damian Asam (b. September 29 1686 in Benediktbeuern, Germany – d. May 10 1739 in Munich) was a Bavarian painter and architect of the late baroque period. He worked with his brother Edguin (Egid Qurin), and their joint works are often attributed to the "Asam brothers". These include the Asam church in Munich and a cathedral in Innsbruck.
