This article is about Tony Blair's son. For the article about Tony Blair's father, please see Leo Blair (senior).

Leo George Blair (born 20 May, 2000) is the youngest son of Tony Blair, the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and his wife Cherie Blair. He is named after Tony Blair's father. He was born at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

Leo Blair is the first legitimate child to be born to a serving Prime Minister since Francis Albert Rollo Russell was born to Lord John Russell on 11 July, 1849. The Blairs have been very conscious to shield Leo from media scrutiny. Tony Blair has refused to confirm whether Leo has received the MMR vaccine, a controversial issue in the United Kingdom.

Despite the Blairs' desire to shield Leo from publicity, photos of Leo have been published with some famous faces including Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and Jacques Chirac, the President of France.

In January 2006 it was revealed that police were aware of a suggested plot by former members of Fathers 4 Justice to kidnap Leo in order to highlight their cause.[1] However, no kidnapping took place, and Downing Street and the police officially refused to confirm or deny the story. Fathers 4 Justice disbanded as a result of the negative publicity surrounding this revelation.

Leo lives in the flat of 11 Downing Street, London (although he would traditionally live in 10 Downing Street) with his parents and three siblings: Euan Blair, Nicky Blair and Kathryn Blair.
