Chartridge is a hamlet within the parish of Chesham, in Buckinghamshire, England. It is situated in the west part of the parish, in the Chiltern Hills.
The hamlet name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'Caerda's ridge', referring to the fact that the hamlet sits on the top of a hill. In manorial rolls of 1191 the hamlet was referred to as Charderuge.
Chartridge is home to one of the counties' top golf courses, a large Conference Centre as well as Chartridge Community School, currently run by Ken Lennon.
