Sonic Foundry is a computer software creator noted for its quality audio and video editing programs. The company's corporate headquarters are located in Madison, Wisconsin.
In late 2003, Sonic Foundry's media software was purchased by Sony Pictures Digital for a price of $18 million.
Sonic Foundry's current product line consists of the webcasting, presentation software Mediasite.
