Image:Hoshyar Zebari.jpg Hoshyar Zebari (or Hişyar Zêbarî) (born 1953) is the current Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Iraqi Transitional Government following the elections of January 2005. A Kurd originally from Aqrah, Zebari holds a masters degree in sociology from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom and studied political science in Jordan. He was the foreign spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the 1990s and represented the organization to the United Kingdom and the United States.
