Messiah (Messiahx) is a Thrash / Melodic Metal band from Karachi, Pakistan formed in 1999 by band members Ahmed Hashim, Mazhar Shah & Fasahat Salim.

The band lineup features:

• Ahmed Hashim (ex-drums) - Previous experience includes the band Evolutions End

• Aamir Basheer (ex-guitars) - Previous experience includes bands such as "Evolutions End",

"Engine 9", "Void". Aamir is currently the vocalist for the "Armageddon Monks" in Ithaca, NY.

• Daniel Panjwaneey (bass) - Previous experience includes the band Engine 9

• Fasahat Salim (drums) - Previous experience includes the band Prey. Fasahat was the original bassist for Messiah, and later took the role of drummer when Ahmed Hashim left for college

• Gibran Nasir (vocals) - Previous experience includes the band Evolutions End.

• Mazhar Shah (lead guitars) - [No previous experience]

• Nabeel Mahfooz (lead guitars) - Previously practiced with many bands from the Karachi Underground and later joined Messiah as a permanent member
