Give Up is The Postal Service's critically acclaimed debut album. The album was released on February 18, 2003 on Sub Pop Records. The album is the second album release under the Sub Pop label to receive a gold record status, the first being Nirvana's Bleach. The most notable single in Give Up is "Such Great Heights" which has been used by various North American television commercials.
The third single release, "We Will Become Silhouettes" was also adapted into a music video, directed by Jared Hess, screenwriter and director of Napoleon Dynamite.
