Deborah S. Jin (born 1968) is a physicist with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); Assistant Professor Adjoint, Department of Physics at the University of Colorado; a fellow of the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics (JILA), a NIST joint laboratory with the University of Colorado. In 2003 Dr. Jin's team at JILA made the first fermionic condensate. She won the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship "genius grant" in 2003, and in 2004 she was recognized by Scientific American as "Research Leader of the Year".Template:Ref
