Stephanie McIntosh (born on July 5 1985 in Australia) is an Australian actress. She is currently most famous for her role as Sky Mangel in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She is the half-sister of Jason Donovan, himself a former Neighbours star, has two older sisters called Katherine and Olivia and her mother Sue McIntosh, is a former newsreader for ABC News.
Previous to her role in Neighbours she appeared in the film The Wilde Girls alongside Olivia Newton John as well as the Australian kids TV show, The Legacy Of The Silver Shadow, both small guest appearances. As a child she also did some modelling work.
For her role on Neighbours, she was nominated as the "Most Popular New Female Talent" at the 46th Annual TV Week Logie Awards held in 2004, but lost to Isabel Lucas from Home And Away.
Stephanie's character has been involved in controversial plotlines during her time on Neighbours, including a relationship with Lana Crawford (played by Bridget Neval), Neighbours first ever lesbian charater. She also fills the role of the street's pseudo-intellectual; eschewing current popular culture her favourite films include 'Some Like It Hot' and 'Ghost World', Sky is outspoken on moral issues and maintains a keen interest in animal rights. This 'deeper' nature of her character is indicative of the current trend of 'girl power' as Sky also regularly appears on screen in potentially-alluring apparel including lingerie and cat costumes. Her current boyfriend is 'bad-boy' Dylan Timmins.
Stephanie is rumoured to want to begin a pop career post Neighbours. Glen Wheatley, Delta Goodrem's former manager, is managing the young starlet. Album due for release sometime this year. According to rumour she is dating St Kilda Football Star Nick Riewoldt
