Vladislaus III Henry or Wladislaus III Henry (Czech: Vladislav Jindřich; ? - August 12 1222) was the son of Vladislav II, and younger brother of Přemysl Otakar I. On June 22, 1197, he was elected Duke of Bohemia. Faced with an uprising in favour of Otakar, Vladislav Jindřich abdicated a few months later on December 6. Přemysl Otakar I then took the Bohemian throne (without imperial approval) and compensated Vladislav Jindřich with the autonomous Margravate of Moravia. By his repudiation of the throne, Vladislav Jindřich helped to bring an end to the destructive dynastic wars of the Přemyslid dynasty lasting for over 25 years from the death of King Vladislav II. He was the 25th and last Duke of Bohemia.
