A contact magazine is a magazine that publishes small ads and announcements for those with smaller budget, including free advertisement and announcements, as well as the advertising services eg. plumbings. Advertisements are often accompanied with small pictures of advertiser especially in the category of personals but mostly the content is just text.
Contact magazines typically have big and medium circulations, and are sold from kiosks and newsstands. The contact magazine redaction publishing ads with actual telephone numbers, addresses and where advertisers wish to protect their private announcement will only have a PO BOX address for which the magazine operator may run a mail forwarding service.
