Template:Nihongo, born March 24 1978 in Tokyo, Japan, is the female lead singer of Every Little Thing, a Japanese pop group. She was formerly a child actress.

Kaori started to sing with a girl band called The Kuro Buta All-Stars, a group similar to Morning Musume with lots of different girls, but Kaori had the strongest voice of all of them. When she finished school, Kaori decided that she wanted to become a singer, and started to record demo tapes and send them to record labels. She finally signed with label Avex Trax.

Mitsuru Igarashi, music producer then, heard Kaori's tape and asked her to be part of the band Every Little Thing along with Ichiro Ito and him. As the time of ELT's popularity raise up, Kaori began to suffer a scenic panic, after watching herself in every magazine, TV channel, and radio station of Japan, and she used to get sick after every concert, but later she got better after getting confidence in herself and seeing her as a great singer.

Several magazines has qualified her as a fashion icon, because of her unique style, and she signed to several companies for advertsements like Breeze, Toyota, and Icebox.
