Template:Album infobox Originally released in March 1975, Katy Lied was the fourth album to be released by rock group Steely Dan. Though it went gold and peaked at #13 on the charts, Becker and Fagen weren't happy with its low sound quality from an equipment malfunction and refused to listen to it when it was complete. However, the album is now considered one of Becker and Fagen's most important records.
