Gay Mullins was a retired electrical engineer and millionaire from Seattle, Washington in the United States, notable as the founder of the group Old Cola Drinkers of America, which fought Coca-Cola's decision to replace their classic soft drink formula with "New Coke".

Despite twice selecting new Coke over old in blind taste tests, Mullins declared himself deeply disappointed and angry about the new formula. After spearheading formation of the group in 1985, he launched a class action lawsuit against Coca-Cola, set up a hotline for angry consumers, participated in a national letter-writing campaign, and lobbied for the original Coca-Cola formula to be released into the public domain.

Although his personal efforts were not taken seriously, the unexpected degree of public resistance to the new formula led Coca-Cola executives to reintroduce the original version of the beverage as "Coca-Cola Classic" only three months after the initial change.
