Template:Infobox England place UA Chafford Hundred is a recent UK housing development (building began in 1989) just outside Greater London between Grays and Ockendon in the Borough of Thurrock. It is immediately adjacent to Lakeside Shopping Centre and West Thurrock. Chafford Hundred railway station serves the local area.
A hundred is a historical subdivision used in England. Chafford Hundred in its original form covered a much larger area than the modern day development including the parishes of Aveley, Brentwood, Childerditch, Cranham, Grays Thurrock, Little Warley, North Ockendon, Rainham, South Ockendon, South Weald, Stifford, Upminster, Wennington and West Thurrock. The use of the hundred decreased throughout the 19th century.
