Bugdom is a third-person action/arcade game made by Pangea Software where the player guides Rollie McFly the Woodlouse, to save the insect Kingdom from evil ants by restoring ladybugs, which are the rightful rulers. The game was released on Mac OS and Windows, and was followed by a sequel, Bugdom 2. The artwork is reminiscent of that in A Bug's Life.

Developed for the Macintosh and included with the iMac DV 2000 and later iBook models by Pangea Software. Bugdom was later ported to the PC with apparent battles of software publishing rights that kept the game from being properly distributed in computer stores.

Levels

• Level 1 - Takes place in a field. It is the easiest level and contains only minor enemies (such as army ants and slugs).
• Level 2 - The general landscape is similar to Level 1, though much larger, and there is quite a bit of water to navigate while ants throw rocks at you from above.
• Level 3 - Takes place next to a lake. New enemies appear, including water ticks and mosquitos. You can ride a water spider.
• Level 4 - Feet of humans try to squish you en route to ant territory. Bees, caterpillars, and spiders appear for the first time. You get to ride on a dragonfly for part of the level. If you fly too high, a bat swoops down and eats you. This is reminiscent of the Flying Monkeys in The Wizard of Oz.
• Level 5 - Defeat the first boss, the beehive by shooting at it from the back of the dragonfly.
• Level 6 - Inside the beehive, one encounters worker bees and larva.
• Level 7 - Defeat the Queen Bee.
• Level 8 - At night. Journey to the ant king's palace. Fire-breathing ants appear for the first time.
• Level 9 - Traverse the ant hill. Darkness cover the water.
• Level 10 - Fight the ant king, Thorax.
