The Manhattan Mall is an upscale shopping mall located in Herald Square in New York City.

While the mall is still a popualar shopping attraction, the most recent anchor store, Stern's closed. Federated Department Stores converted its Stern's locations into Macy's, but as the mall was only two blocks from the world famous Macy's flagship store, it wasn't. The mall has been in decline and most of its numerous levels have been converted to other uses, with only the first and second levels and the basement floors occupied by retail mall shops. The 3rd through 7th levels have been converted to office use.

From 1910 to 1987 the entire building was the Gimbels department store and store offices. When the mall first opened in the early 1990s, the mall was originally named "A&S Plaza" with Abraham & Straus (A & S) as the anchor. After the A&S name disappeared with the stores renamed either Macy's or Stern's (depending upon the location), the name of the mall changed to its present form. Until 1998, the space occupied by A&S became the flagship store for Stern's (so named for the Stern Brothers who founded the chain).
