Abilities
He can fly with extreme high speed thanks to his light armor.
Attacks
- Metal Wolf Claw/Ice Wolf Claw/MetalGarurumon Blaster (Cocytus Breath): Fires a blast of ice from his mouth.
- Ice Wolf Bite/G Gross Freezer (Grace Cross Freezer): Launches missiles from the hidden weapons in his back, causing whatever they hit to freeze.
- Metal Fang: A biting attack.
- Giga Missile (Garuru Tomahawk): Fires a missile from his stomach.
- Giga Destruction - A massive offensive attack using his body's armaments.
- Metal Wolf Snout - Fires freezing beams from his snout.
- Giga Spin - Spins, attacking his opponent.
Appearances
Digimon Adventure
He first appeared when VenomMyotismon terrorized Tokyo. Angemon and Angewomon shot Tai and Matt with their arrows of Hope and Light. When Matt was shot, Gabumon Warp Digivolved to MetalGarurumon while Agumon Warp Digivolved to WarGreymon. Together with WarGreymon MetalGarurumon then destroyed their enemy but when the DigiDestined returned to the Digital World they had to fight against the Dark Masters. Although at first none of the two Megas of the kids was able to deal some damage to the evil Digimon, they were finally able to defeat one by another and it was MetalGarurumon who destroyed Puppetmon. He also aided with the fights against Piedmon and Apocalymon.
Our War Game
Gabumon Warp Digivolved to MetalGarurumon to help WarGreymon fight Diaboromon. Diaboromon and his clones damaged the 2 Megas until a miracle allowed WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to DNA Digivolve to Omnimon.
V-Tamer
Meruga the MetalGarurumon was one half of Hideto Fujimoto's Digimon that forms Omnimon.
