Gamora is a fictional character who is published by Marvel Comics. She is the adopted daughter of Thanos, and the occasional love interest of Adam Warlock. Her skin is pale green; she is the last of her species, the Zen Whoberi, who were exterminated by the Brotherhood of Badoon.
Gamora was raised and trained by Thanos to assassinate the Magus, an evil alternate version of Adam Warlock. Later, she tried to stop Thanos dark plans and was fatally wounded by Thanos. She was later resurected and became a member of the Infinity Watch which protects the Infinity Gems; she held the Time Gem. She has superhuman strength, amazing fighting abilities and a healing factor rivaling that of Wolverine. She had a long-term friendship with Adam Warlock which bordered on romance.
