Sunrise/Back to the Future were the most widely publicised Acid House promoters in the UK. They staged a series of large scale events in venues such as aircraft hangars, equestrian centres and large warehouses. Run by public school-boy Tony Colstonhayter, the organisation was front-page news in the United Kingdom for two weeks.
Sunrise were instrumental in organising the Freedom to Party demonstrations and the free parties that followed alongside Genesis '88, Biology and Weekend World.
