Image:Perdicas.jpg Perdicas is a fictional character in the television show Xena: Warrior Princess. He is portrayed by actor Anton Bentley.
Perdicas appears in the first episode of Xena, Sins of the Past. He is Gabrielle's betrothed, but she is reluctant to marry him and runs away to become Xena's sidekick instead. After Gabrielle left, Perdicas decided to 'toughen up' and become a soldier. Gabrielle meets him again in Beware of Greeks Bearing Gifts when he fights at Troy. He appears again in the episode Return of Callisto and explains to Gabrielle that he is totally disillusioned with military service and is tired of killing. He asks Gabrielle to marry him, and she accepts. But soon after their wedding, he is killed by Xena's nemesis Callisto.
