She was hired to play the role of bad girl Natalie Balsom on One Life to Live in 2001. Over time, the audience learned that Natalie was really Viki's long lost daughter with Clint Buchanan. She is Jessica's fraternal twin sister. This, coupled with the character's love affair with Cristian Vega (David Fumero), slowly turned her good.
In 2003, Archer won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Newcomer.
