Tomás Orlando Pérez (born December 29, 1973) is a Major League Baseball infielder who plays for the Philadelphia Phillies (2000-present). Pérez was born in Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela. He throws right handed and switch hits.

Before landing in Philadelphia in 2000, Pérez had played for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1995 to 1998, where he was selected under the provisions of the Rule 5 draft. Pérez is considered to be versatile because of his ability to play all four infield positions.

Pérez had his best year in 2003. Shifted between third, second, first, shortstop, right field, and also as an emergency pitcher, Pérez was an asset in the bench. He has a strong arm and nice range, but the more routine the hit, the more likely he will boot it. Despite being signed through 2006, his job with the Phillies may be in jeopardy, due to having back to back subpar seasons in 2004 and 2005.

Pérez is a .246 hitter with 22 home runs and 142 RBI in 588 games.
