The Carus Publishing Company is a publisher with offices in Chicago and Peru, Illinois. It owns the Open Court Publishing Company as well as the Cricket Magazine Group, whose flagship publication is the children's magazine Cricket.
Carus's other magazines for children and teens include Babybug, Ladybug, Click, Appleseeds, Ask, Spider, Dig, Cobblestone, Muse, Faces, Calliope, Odyssey, Footsteps, and Cicada.
