Natasha Stillwell is a host and producer of the television show Daily Planet, which airs on Discovery Channel Canada.
Natasha Stillwell's passion for broadcasting began in grade school in Scotland where, at age 12, she helped set up an internal TV station. After completing a university degree in Biology she worked in retail management, before leaving Britain for two years of traveling and working abroad.
She camel-safaried in India, white-water rafted in Nepal and scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef. Back in the UK, Natasha cut her teeth in TV production at a local cable station, Edinburgh LIVE. Later that year, she moved to Tern Television Productions. Here she spent very happy days researching a garden show, laying down patios and planting trees in the far reaches of the Highlands. Later she moved into program development and presented shows for the BBC and Channel 4.
In September 2002 she made the move to Canada and Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet.
