Image:Optimus.jpg Peter Cullen, a member of the first graduating class of the National Theatre School of Canada, is a voice actor who has provided the voices for Optimus Prime, Ironhide and Slugslinger in Transformers, Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh, KARR in Knight Rider, Antor and Bomba in Dino-Riders and other characters in Gremlins, Ghostbusters, The Smurfs, Dungeons & Dragons, Tom and Jerry Kids, Rude Dog and the Dweebs and The Jetsons, among many other television shows and movies. He has also lent his basso voice to many movie trailers and television commercials, including announcing for Toonami on the Cartoon Network, along with the opening credits to Voltron: Defender of the Universe.

He also voiced Nintendo's mascot Mario in the Donkey Kong segments on Saturday Supercade, making him the first person to ever provide a voice for the character.

Four other actors also played in Transformers, G.I.Joe and Dino-riders: Frank Welker, Chris Latta, Jack Angel and Charlie Adler.

Cullen has also recently done voicework on drum and bass dj Dieselboy's last two studio mix albums, Project Human, and The Dungeonmaster's Guide. He also does voice work for Blizzard Entertainment.

Cullen has three children; Clay, Claire and Pilar E. Cullen.
