Image:Chlorpyrifos.png Chlorpyrifos is a toxic crystalline organophosphate insecticide (C₉H₁₁Cl₃N_O3PS) that inhibits acetylcholinesterase and is used to control insect pests. Trade names include Dursban, Empire, Eradex, Lorsban (Dow Chemical Company), and Stipend.

Its chemical name is O,O-diethyl O-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate.
