Template:Infobox Brazillian Political Party The Liberal Party (Portuguese: Partido Liberal) is a liberal political party of Brazil. Lately, the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (God´s Kingdom Universal Church) has used the party to elect its bishops in Brazilian elections, but this church left the party and create a new party PRB. At the last legislative elections, 6 october 2002, the party won 26 out of 513 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 3 out of 81 seats in the Senate and support Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
