Career

Matt Morgan was first introduced to WWE (then WWF) as part of its Tough Enough II program but left the show early due to injury. In April 2002, Morgan signed a developmental deal with World Wrestling Entertainment and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he wrestled as "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan. Morgan was soon brought up to one of the main shows in WWE, SmackDown!, and was picked by then GM of SmackDown!, Paul Heyman, to join 'Team Lesnar' (Morgan, Brock Lesnar, Big Show, A-Train and Nathan Jones) who would face off against 'Team Angle' in a Ten Man Elimination Tag match at Survivor Series 2003.

After this small push he was sent back the OVW for further development and experience, wrestling again as "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan, and there became the OVW Champion once again.

Matt Morgan made his re-debut to WWE on April 21, 2005, with a new gimmick of a stuttering big-man who is defensive over his speech disorder and allied himself with Carlito Caribbean Cool to become Carlito's "backup", helping Carlito defeat The Big Show at WWE Judgement Day. This partnership ended when Carlito was drafted to RAW and subsequently Morgan was released by WWE on July 5 2005.

Matt Morgan has toured with New Japan Pro Wrestling in late 2005, defeating Yuji Nagata in his debut match. He was being pushed as a "monster gaijin" and was expected to become one of NJPW's top foreign wrestlers, but plans for this were abandoned when NJPW management decided to use Giant Bernard for the role instead. Matt Morgan has since joined All Japan Pro Wrestling, as a member of Taka Michinoku's foreigner-oriented RO&D faction.

In January 2006, Morgan was accused of attempting to pull over a female driver by pretending to be a police officer in Louisville, Kentucky. He was arrested and charged for impersonating a police officer.

Matt Morgan was involved in an online reality show with former WCW and WWE superstar Mark Jindrak. But the show was canceled in early 2006. The reason for the cancellation is still unknown but the website says “All subscriptions have been cancelled”.

It has been reported that WWE is interested in bring back Morgan, however he has so far refused.
