FC Metalurg Donetsk is an Ukrainian football club from the city of Donetsk. Metalurg Donetsk is also known as Metalurh Donetsk. It is currently playing in the Vyscha Liha or the Ukrainian Premier League.

The Georgian striker Georgi Demetradze played for Metalurg Donetsk and was a lead scorer in the 2003-2004 season with 18 goals. He was later traded to FC Alania Vladikavkaz in the start of the 2005-2006 season.

On March 16, 2006 former coach Oleksandr Savydov resigned and was replaced by former FC Borysfen Borispil coach Stepan Matvyiv
