The Shadowsphere is a Finnish darkwave/neofolk group. The band uses instruments like djembe drums, eastern percussions, cello, acoustic guitars and so on.
A brief history:
- "We started as a goth band. Then, a few years ago, a certain attitude was more important than songs or sound quality. We shortly noticed that one genre is too narrow a niche when it comes to expressing ourselves. So, we decided to kiss a goodbye to the kind of boring category, in which you must be more sombre than a corpse dug up from its grave. We moved on. To the wider fields. Without our brotherhood it would be much more difficult to work as a band. Thank you, God, for letting us to be brothers." — Willam Klove, 9.6.2005
