Port Bolivar, Texas, is an unincorporated town located at the end of the Bolivar Peninsula in Galveston County, Texas. As of 1990, Port Bolivar had a population of 1,200. The town is home to the historic Bolivar Lighthouse, which once guided ships entering Galveston Bay.
Ferry service is provided by the Texas Department of Transportation between Port Bolivar and Galveston.

Education
There is one school, Crenshaw Elementary and Middle School, that is in the area. It is operated by Galveston Independent School District, and Port Bolivar students go to Ball High School in Galveston for high school.
