Puli (Template:Zh-cpw; Taiwanese POJ: Po·-lí tìn) is an urban township in Nantou County, Taiwan. It is the geographic center of Taiwan.
One of the main economic activities in Puli is tourism; this is because it is located in the mountainous center of Taiwan, and many tourist destination spots are located near this township. The most well-known is Sun Moon Lake, only a 30-minute drive from Puli. There is also a nationally owned brewery, as well as the largest Buddhist temple in Nantou County.
In 1999, this town was struck hard by the 921 Earthquake
