Weyerhaeuser is a village located in Rusk County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 353.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.5 km² (0.9 mi²). 2.4 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is land and 1.05% is water.

Demographics

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 353 people, 172 households, and 101 families residing in the village. The population density was 145.0/km² (377.4/mi²). There were 196 housing units at an average density of 80.5/km² (209.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.43% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.57% from two or more races. 0.28% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 172 households out of which 20.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.4% were married couples living together, 11.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.7% were non-families. 37.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 25.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.05 and the average family size was 2.67.

In the village the population was spread out with 20.4% under the age of 18, 5.4% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 19.8% from 45 to 64, and 28.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 81.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.7 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $26,250, and the median income for a family was $30,000. Males had a median income of $29,375 versus $18,438 for females. The per capita income for the village was $13,816. 14.1% of the population and 4.9% of families were below the poverty line. 24.7% of those under the age of 18 and 9.9% of those 65 and older were living below the poverty line.
