Alt.zines

Template:Lowercase Template:Cleanup-date alt.zines is a Usenet newsgroup set aside for the discussion of zines. Jerod Pore's friend Edward Vielmetti created the newsgroup in 1992 at Jerod's request. Since that time, alt.zines has seen more than 26,000 postings.

One of the first zines to be published through alt.zines was Factsheet Five - Electronic, which dumped the electrons that go into the paper version of Factsheet Five onto the net. Jerod Pore was editor.
