Brazil's first skyscraper was the Martinelli Building in São Paulo. It had a total height of 130 meters. Brazil's tallest skyscraper is the Mirante do Vale (also know as Palacio Zarzur Kogan), also in São Paulo. It is 170 meters tall with 51 floors. São Paulo is the only city in Brazil able to have skyscrapers, but there are some laws that don't allow the construction of such a tall buildings, so the skyline is not very high. However, São Paulo is the most verticalized city in the world, meaning that the number of buildings over 80 meters is high, and the height of all of them added would be surpass other skylines around the world, such as New York's,Chicago's and Tokyo'sTemplate:Citation needed.
