Message to the Free Nations of the World

In 1919 the First Dáil issued a Message to the Free Nations of the World. The message was passed by Dáil Éireann on January 21, 1919. It asked nations to recognise Ireland as a separate nation, free from British rule. It was adopted in three languages: Irish, English and French.
