The myrtle-leaved orange (C. aurantium, var. myrtifolia (Ker-Gawl)) is a variety of Citrus aurantium with foliage similar to that of the common myrtle.
It is a compact shrub or tree with small leaves and no thorns. The fruit of the tree are sour or bitter, and are commonly called by their Italian name, chinotto.
