UXGA is an abbreviation for Ultra eXtended Graphics Array referring to a standard monitor resolution of 1600 × 1200 pixels, which is exactly quadruple the default resolution of SVGA. Dell Computer refers to the same resolution of 1,920,000 pixels as UGA. It is generally considered to be the next step above SXGA (1280 × 960 or 1280 × 1024), but some resolutions (such as SXGA+ 1400 × 1050) fit in between the two.
There is a widescreen version of UXGA called WUXGA with a resolution of 1920x1200.
