Pursuant to Millennium Declaration Resolution C6 to Governments to restructure the global financial architecture with an alternative interest-free time-based currency, UNILETS is a scheme for globally-integrated Local Exchange Trading Systems, a world-wide variant of Ithaca Hours. It, along with the Tobin Tax and was one of the schemes actively promoted by the United Nations as alternatives to Bretton Woods system institutions (the International Monetary Fund, Bank for International Settlements and World Bank).
