The term moving average is used in different contexts,
- Moving average (finance), a family of technical analysis indicators
- Autoregressive moving average model on time series data in statistics
- Finite impulse response (also called moving average) filter, in digital signal processing
- Convolution, a moving average in other mathematical contexts is a type of convolution
