El Siddiq or Al Siddiq ("the faithful", also "The Upright"), is a title that is often used by Sunnis and in Historical records in general to refer to Abu Bakr. Although the Shia do not believe that Abu Bakr deserved the title, and rather use it in reference to their first Imam, Ali ibn Abi Talib.
