Enigmail

Image:SignedAndEncryptedMessage.png Enigmail provides public key e-mail encryption. It is an extension for versions of the Mozilla Application Suite and Mozilla Thunderbird running on Microsoft Windows or Unix-like operating systems. Actual cryptographic functionality is handeled by GNU Privacy Guard.

Both Enigmail and GNU Privacy Guard are free open-source software.

Enigmail's current version number is 0.94.0 as of March 2006.
