Mickey Michaux

Henry M. "Mickey" Michaux, Jr. is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's thirty-first House district, including constituents in Durham county. Michaux is a native of Durham, North Carolina and an alumnus of Durham's North Carolina Central University. A real estate agent and attorney, Michaux is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in his twelfth term in the state House.

Michaux has filed for re-election from the thirtieth-first House district in the 2004 General Assembly election; he faces Libertarian Michael P. Owen in the November general election.
