S. Clark Jenkins is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's third Senate district, including constituents in Bertie, Edgecombe, Martin, Pitt, Tyrrell and Washington counties. A farmer from Tarboro, North Carolina, Jenkins is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in his first term in the state Senate.
